Svolgi tutti gli esercizi sul quaderno o direttamente sulla scheda. Lavora con attenzione alla coniugazione del verbo to be e al participio passato. Quando trasformi una frase, ragiona prima sul tempo verbale originale, poi decidi se mantenere o omettere il by phrase.

  1. Quale frase è correttamente al passivo present simple?
  1. Scegli la forma passiva corretta al past simple: 'The chef ___ the dish carefully.'
  1. Quale frase contiene un passivo present continuous corretto?
  1. Quale verbo NON può essere trasformato al passivo?
  1. Nella frase passiva, l'oggetto della frase attiva diventa il nuovo soggetto.
  1. Il by phrase deve essere sempre presente in ogni frase passiva, anche se l'agente è sconosciuto.
  1. Dopo i verbi modali (must, can, should) si usa 'be + participio passato'.
  1. La frase 'The accident was happened yesterday' è grammaticalmente corretta.

  1. Completa con il passivo present simple: 'Pizza ___ (eat) all around the world.'

  6. Completa con il passivo modale: 'These documents must ___ (sign) before Friday.'

  7.   8.   9. Trasforma al passivo: 'The famous architect designed this church in the seventeenth century.'

  10. Trasforma al passivo: 'They have postponed the meeting until next Monday.'

  11. Trasforma al passivo (frase con due oggetti): 'My parents gave me a new laptop for my graduation.' (usa la persona come soggetto)

  12. Riscrivi usando la costruzione impersonale 'It is said that...': 'People say that this restaurant serves the best pasta in town.'

  13. Scrivi un breve paragrafo (5-6 frasi) sulla storia di un monumento famoso usando almeno quattro forme passive in tempi diversi.

  14. Spiega con parole tue, e con due esempi originali, in quali situazioni gli inglesi preferiscono usare il passivo invece dell'attivo. Distingui tra contesti formali e informali.

  15. Trasforma al passivo la frase: 'They are going to publish her new novel in October.' Spiega ogni passaggio.

  16. Identifica e correggi gli errori in questa frase passiva: 'The cookies was bake by my mother last weekend, and they have being eat by everyone.'
